Four cameras provide virtually complete all-round visibility. The view angle and position of the cameras are designed to record the area immediately in front, beside and behind the vehicle. The pictures can be activated individually or displayed simultaneously. The driver and section commander can also access any camera independently of one another and view the relevant images.
Six cameras record all the surroundings of a detector vehicle. Two of these form the heart of the system. One camera with a wide 115 degree view angle from the sturdy MC3000 range points at the working area of the radar sensor. A swivel zoom camera mounted in parallel provides precise and detailed images of the ground.
Two cameras take the strain of drivers of armoured wheeled vehicles. A camera mounted on the rear gives a view of what is behind. A second one points at the container. With a field viewing angle of 20 degrees, it provides clear images of the tower. All Motec components fulfil the strictest requirements for military use - for example, all cables and plugs are reinforced with special protective hoses.
